一、忍耐は先ずー服の間とぞ知れ

1. Know that endurance is but a moment in time.

二、人の道は正義也と知れと知れ

2. Know that the path of humanity is justice.

三、大慾と楽と依枯の心を忘れよ

3. Forget feelings of greed, laziness, and prejudice.

四、悲しみも恨みも自然の定めと思唯だ不動心の悟りを得可 し

4. Recognize that sorrow and resentment are natural and acquire an understanding of fudōshin (immovable heart).

五、心常に忠孝の道を離れず深く文武に志す可し

5. Always stay on the path of loyalty and deeply aspire to the literary and martial arts.

右五定を守る事道場の規定也

Observing the 5 rules above is the law of the dōjō.
